Phone Scam

Austin Telco has recently been informed of a phone scam. Members and non-members have received fraudulent phone calls with a recorded message prompting them to call 1-800-376-5935 or 1-800-376-5934 which states, “Thanks for calling Austin Telco, please enter your sixteen digit card number,” and continues to ask for personal information.

Austin Telco will never call to request personal information. If you have received one of these calls or believe you have fallen victim to this scam, please contact bookkeeping at 512.302.5555 x7190. If you are not an Austin Telco member, and entered your card number, please contact the financial institution who issued your card.
