2010 Telco Member Appreciation Golf Tournament

Thirty teams of credit union staff, members and vendors enjoyed a beautiful fall round of golf during the 2010 Member Golf Tournament on October 28 at Sun City's Cowan Creek Golf Course in Georgetown. It was a little windy, but otherwise beautiful day. The tournament was sponsored by a number of credit union vendor/partners including lunch and dinner sponsors: Southwest Corporate FCU and Diebold, and many other hole sponsors.

Congratulations to Shay Clark, Bob Lovett, Cliff Lovett and Wally Erickson, who took home first place trophies with a score of 17 under. Derrick Adams and Amanda Tuskey boasted the longest drives. Amanda Tuskey also shot closest to the pin twice! Other golfers awarded closest to the pin include: Ruben Aguirre and David Peña. Along with first, second, third, fourth and fifth place, closest to the pin and longest drive, there were many wonderful door prizes were given away at dinner including golf balls and clubs, Texas Stars hockey tickets, Austin Toros basketball tickets, a Texas Sphere ride, a round of golf for four at Berry Creek, Balcones Woods and Blackhawk, and more!

A big thanks to all of our sponsors and partners who donated door prizes. It was a wonderful afternoon of fellowship and fun in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
