2011 Member Golf Tournament
Join us for Austin Telco’s 2011 Member Appreciation Golf Tournament on Wednesday, November 16, at Flintrock Falls Golf Course at the Hills Country Club in Lakeway. The tournament will be a four-person scramble, beginning with a 12:30 P.M. shotgun start. A boxed lunch will be provided before play; dinner and an awards presentation will be held afterwards with prizes to the top three teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, and many, many door prizes.
The entry fee of $65 per person includes your greens fee, range balls, boxed lunch before play, and dinner following the tournament. If you or your company is interested in sponsoring a hole, the fee is $350 and includes one player. Space is limited and on a first come, first served basis.
The tournament is full. If you are interested in sponsorships, we have reserved a few spaces (but they are filling up fast)!. Please contract Katrina at 302.5555, ext. 7363.
Annual Meeting Notice | Board of Directors Nomination Process
Next March, two members will be elected to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term. The election process will be conducted in compliance with our Bylaws and Election Rules with the election taking place at the Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the North Austin Event Center, located at 10601 North Lamar in Austin.
A Nominating Committee, appointed by the Chairman of the Board, will select and present nominees to the membership. Members seeking consideration for nomination by the Nominating Committee must submit a resume and current photo as well as complete an “Application for Nomination to the Board of Directors” form by Tuesday, November 22, 2011. If the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled, a member may seek nomination by petition in lieu of nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting. Any member seeking nomination by petition must submit a “Nomination by Petition Packet” along with a resume and current photo by Friday, February 3, 2012. Applications and “Nomination by Petition Packets” will be available during normal lobby hours on Monday thru Friday in the Administrative office at the Shoal Creek Branch located at 8929 Shoal Creek Blvd., Austin, TX, 78757. All required documents noted above must be filed with the Nominating Committee by the specified deadline by delivering them to the Administrative Office in the Shoal Creek Branch, Monday thru Friday, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.
In order to vote in an election of the Credit Union, an individual must be: 1) a member having qualified within the Credit Union’s defined field of membership as set forth in the Credit Union’s Bylaws and 2) must own a regular share account as a primary member with a balance equal to or in excess of the minimum balance requirements of the account classification. Joint owners of accounts are not eligible to vote unless they qualify as a member and have account in their own right. Members are not eligible to vote until having attained eighteen (18) years of age.
Names of members placed in nomination will be posted in all branch lobbies by Thursday, February 16, 2012.
Central Texas Wildfire Fund
Thank you for your generous donations to the Texas Wildfire Fund. We partnered with the Austin American Statesman to collect donations for Austin Community Foundation, benefitting the victims of the Central Texas wildfires. So far, $220,000+ has been raised.
