Login Information Scam
There has been a rise in login information scams to younger adults. These scammers will act like an employer, friend, or loved one who need your login information regarding your account to deposit checks. These checks always come back and leave the account negative.
Please remember that account login information is personal and should never be given out to anyone. Legitimate employers would not need this information and friends and family would not need your login information to deposit a check.
If you receive an email from an individual claiming to need your login information, do not respond. Instead, contact the Federal Trade Commision and report the email to them. If you feel you have been scammed, contact us immediately at 512-302-5555.
