ATFCU Annual Business Meeting & Reports
Each year, ATFCU hosts their annual meeting where the Board of Directors, Officers, and Members discuss and vote upon open business for the organization.
-2027 Board of Directors Election-
In March 2027, two members will be elected to serve on the Board of Directors. The election process will be conducted in compliance with our Bylaws and Election Rules with the election taking place at the Annual Meeting on March 10, 2027, at the Balcones Centre building, fourth floor training room, starting at 2:00PM.
A Nominating Committee, appointed by the Chairman of the Board, will select and present nominees to the membership. Members seeking consideration for nomination by the Nominating Committee must submit a resume and current photo as well as complete “Application for Nomination to the Board of Directors” form by November 17, 2026. If the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled, there will be no nominations from the floor at the Annual Meeting. Other members may seek nomination by petition. Any member seeking nomination by petition must submit a “Nomination by Petition Packet” along with a resume and current photo by January 12, 2027. Applications and “Nomination by Petition Packets” will be available during normal business hours Monday - Friday 9:00AM – 4:00PM at the Austin Telco headquarters, located at 11149 Research Blvd., Suite 300, Austin, TX, 78759. All required documents noted above must be filed with the Nominating Committee by the specified deadline by delivering them to Austin Telco headquarters during normal business hours.
Names of nominees will be posted by February 1, 2027.

Why do we host an Annual Business Meeting?
As a member-owned financial cooperative, ATFCU holds an Annual Business Meeting each year to keep members informed about the credit union’s performance, financial health, and strategic direction. During the meeting, the Board of Directors and Officers present reports, review important organizational updates, and provide transparency into the decisions being made on behalf of the membership.
The Annual Business Meeting also serves as an important governance function. Members have the opportunity to participate in the democratic process of the credit union through the election of directors and the consideration of official business. By gathering annually, ATFCU reinforces its commitment to accountability, member involvement, and the cooperative principles that have guided the credit union for more than 85 years.

2026 Annual Business Meeting
The 85th Annual Meeting of ATFCU was held on March 10, 2026, where members received reports from credit union leadership and approved the previous meeting’s minutes. During the meeting, Lea Luchsinger and Kathleen Miller were elected to three-year terms on the Board of Directors, and the meeting concluded after all business was completed.
