Our True Youth Checking account can be opened at any of our lobby locations and will require a True Youth Savings Account.
Don't have a True Youth Savings Account? You'll need the following:
- If the child is 16 or older, they must have a government issued ID.
- Child's Social Security Number
- Adult 18 years old or older as a joint owner, with their government-issued ID and Social Security Number.
- $5 deposit required to remain in the True Youth Savings Account as their share of the credit union for as long as the account is open
Here's what you'll need to have to open an account:
- Your Social Security Number or Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN)
- State issued drivers license with photo or Texas DPS Identification card with photo, valid U.S. Passport, valid foreign issued passport w/ photo and U. S. stamp, an Employment Authorization Card, or Texas Issued Concealed Handgun License (CHL) with photo.
- A credit or debit card or U.S. checking or savings account to fund your new account
- You must be 18 years of age or older to be the primary owner
- You must be a US Citizen to apply online
Membership eligibility is available to individuals who:
- Live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell, or Burnet County.
- Immediate relatives of eligible individuals
- Organization of eligible individuals
To open an account online, you need your SSN or ITIN; valid photo state identification card such as a driver's license, passport, EAD, or CHL; and a funding source (credit/debit card or U.S. bank account).
