A money market account is a savings solution that combines higher dividend rates with the flexibility of unlimited withdrawals and deposits. At Austin Telco Federal Credit Union, it offers competitive rates without monthly service fees and is federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000.
Choosing between a CD (Certificate of Deposit) and a money market account depends on your financial goals. A CD offers fixed, often higher interest rates for locking in your funds for a specific term, making it ideal for long-term savings.
